What happens when your neighbor is anti-gun???

Personally, I only fire my canon when I know my neighbors are spying on me. The rest of the time I only wast small arms ammo. My neighbors hate guns. They sometimes call out the cops(before I shoot). Now I practice a few shots every day to let 'em know I'm still thinking of them. Besides, it's good to see the neighbors running up and down the road waving their arms. It looks like a great exercise. But they always get tired before I do.

Where I am now, and where I grew up, it is and was never an issue. The neighbors are too far away and can't see anything anyway. They can hear, but oh well. Since one owns a small gunshop and the others are johnny-come-latelys to the area I just don't worry about it.

Now when I lived in town for those few, long, miserable, depressing, limiting, years the neighbors were nuts. The old lady behind us found some 7.62 rnds that had dropped out of my truck, talked to the attorney across the street who said they were illegal and called the cops. The chief and his right hand man(both friends of mine) showed up, looked at everyone involved as if they were insane, told me to not leave things where it would scare the sheep and left. After that I took a lot of enjoyment packing at least one AK clone, an AR and my Spas out to the truck every Saturday, whether I was going shooting or not.

At least once a month the chief would ask "Will you please stop that, you're going to give the lawyer a stroke and the old lady is going to give me one!" :D It was interesting at least.

I had, operative word being Had, an anti neighbor. You know , the nobody should have guns type.
Well about 2 weeks ago she went to work shot her boss dead and then came home and blew her brains out.
True story.
A shame she didn't reverse the order of killing.

There aren't any more anti's around me anymore.

I never had any problem with where I grew up it was in town too. We would shoot our pellet guns, bows, and sling shots all the time in the back yard . Some time we would shoot our .22s too. When I moved to CA my guns all stayed back home, but a lot of my hunting pics, a few mounted racks, and my marksmen awards are on the walls. You should hear some of the crap I've heard from people that stop by, our neighbor, or when we move.

Provoking

Why do you have to provoke those who don't agree with you? That's the behavior that turns people into anti-gunners. They think everyone who has a gun is a powder-keg and nuts. So, stop acting like you are (if you are).

What happens when your neighbor is anti-gun???
You get the satisfaction of telling him to go ... and do something ... to himself when he tries to borrow a gun the next time there's a Rodney King riot.

Clearly he is not qualified to handle firearms. It's for his own good. It's for the children. It might "just go off".

ahh...

Gotta love Texas. I have lived all over this state and have yet to encounter these gun fearing hippies who think only criminals should be able to arm themselves.

I got sent to the office in fourth grade for "smiling in class."

LOL! In my first USAF tech school I got put out of the class room for farting in class! I think the uncontrolled laughter afterward was what pushed the instructor over the edge though...:D

Seriously though guys. You people actually KNOW your neighbors? I could be living next to Osama B. and have no clue here. Sad state of civilization being what it is...

Oh, and,

Do they also disapprove of nudism?

They would if they saw me that way!:barf:
