"Are we being watched?"
In today's political climate that is - unfortunately - a reasonable question.
There is a certain pleasure in sharing with others things that we own that give us great pleasure but I wonder - I didn't used to be paranoid - if these forums are monitored and if so to what end.
I own both revolvers and semi-auto pistols in the common calibers from .25 ACP to .500 S&W. The calibers that I don't own are .380/.41. The firearms themselves are from a variety of manufacturers; I have no particular brand loyalty or preference..

Lord help me, I have some of these in duplicate and triplet. I love them all equally, some more equally than others.

HK P2000sk - best carry gun made...I love this pistol!
HK USP Elite - Uber Accurate.
HK P7 - Very cool gun.
Walther TPH - Tiny fun gun
Seecamp - A piece of jewery that shoots.
Daewoo DP52 - A wonderful .22lr.
Sig P230 .32acp - Jap. police model, neat gun.
Sig P232 Rainbow Titanium. My brother calls it my "gay gun".
Kahr T9 - The underappreciated wonder gun.

These are the ones I like to fondle a little extra when I clean them or they just make me smile when I shoot them. That doesn't make me wierd does it?

No, I don't think it makes you weird. Nice collection.

I know very little about HK's, outside of the fact that they are well-regarded. What's their most popular 9mm? And you think P2000sk is the best carry gun made...why? Is it easy to conceal? Really reliable? All of the above?

Awesome collection. Huge springfield guy, huh?:)

I have around 60 hand guns. Its not hard to build up quite a few buying 2 or 3 a year for 30 years!

That's awesome.

In this context, I guess me buying two handguns last month is just fine. :D

How do you maintain that many guns? Is there a way to store handguns so they won't rust or anything? Or do you have to clean these from time to time?

Its not that tough. Dehumidifier in the gun room and at least wipe them down good after you handle them. I make sure I clean them well when I shoot them in the humidity of the summer or during the fall hunting seasons. I clean them extra carefully when I accidently drop one in the snow.

"Didn't you know you could put someone's eye out with that BB gun, young man?" How many of you remember hearing that? LOL.
