My Sig 229R 9mm. With the Mec Gar 15 round mags it's hard to beat. Like all my Sigs it has never not fired. It is crazy accurate. And since it was designed for the .40 9mm ammo even the P+ and the +P+ will not cause any problems. It's weighs more than alot of guns in the same caliber but it's not hard to CCW. And the weight makes the 9mm's already light recall even more more pleasant. It "bumps up" more than it recoils. Can put 15+1 rounds into a target in a very short time. DA trigger is long but very smooth and light. SA pull is right at 4 lbs. Next most popular is one of my XD's. Another fine waepon.
I shoot my Glock 17 the most. It was my first firearm and still my favorite pistol by far, even though I own(ed) more expensive and generally considered "higher quality" handguns.
S&W K-frames : one 4" mod.15, one 2" mod. 15, a 6" mod. 14 and a 6" mod.17
because they're very very reliable & accurate and satisfying to shoot , DA-wise.
My most used handgun is my Browning Buckmark by a wide margin, followed by my .22 caliber Smith & Wesson revolvers. Shooting centerfire with any regularity has just gotten crazy expensive.
my personal favorite is my colt 1911 officers model 45 apc. thats for the bi peds (two legs). for the quadropeds (four legs), is the 44mag.-red hawk 7 1/2.
Usually one of my 1911s will always accompany me to the range. My Ruger 22's a close second. Of late, my Beretta 92fs. It's new and I haven't fully wrung it out yet.
