90mm Recoiless.

SMAW.

M72A2 LAW.

Those would be for back-up. My main carry piece would be something on the lines of an Iowa-class battleship.

Sporting, my fuzzy tail. Being monster-munchies is a recurring nightmare of mine.

M-203 rifle grenade, probably more than one.

On second thought, their nervous systems are so primitive that it takes them a long time to figure out that they're dead.

Quad .50 sounds better.

Save that precious ammo, just show it a nude picture of Janet Rheno, one snapshot kill.

Nikita Khrushchev predicted confidently in a speech in Bucharest, Rumania on June 19, 1962 that: " The United States will eventually fly the Communist Red Flag...the American people will hoist it themselves."

"What gun/cartridge for T-Rex?"

Well as I recall he loved his Colt Python and a beautiful Ruger No. 1 in 30-06. (T-Rex is a bona fide TFL member - please don't shoot at him or you'll have to answer to Mykl, ATM and me. :) )

Uh - Whales dont snarl with a mouth full of foot long teeth and chase jeeps and eat lawyers and tussel with Utah Raptors and throw Explorers off cliffs or frighten children...

To alter a line from JAWS "I think we need a bigger gun."

120MM HEAT should do.

So they're using .50s against whales? So what. Whales don't try to eat you! Against a T-Rex, I want something a little bigger: 120mm APFSDSDU (10 points to the first person to decipher the acronym) from an M1A2. Backup would be a second M1A2.

I was watching the Discovery Channel special on dinos a few weeks ago and had similar thoughts. Was wondering how hard it would be to kill a T-Rex with a 12 gauge slug gun, maybe with exploding slugs. If they bounced off his skull, one could aim for the neck and cut his head off.

have you ever stood by the skeleton of one of these things?

Imagine it alive and moving.

This is definitely an indirect fire situation.

I wouldn't trust any handheld nonexplosive weapon.
