Spaniels - Springer or Brit [RIP, Ginger & Curly
]
A hunting partner that does not care, what does /doesn't, go in the bag,
but enjoys the sense of adventure. ( aka: What's going fly next?)
Sip of Jack Daniels by the fireplace with either the above (Partner or Spaniel or both)
The drop of evening as you walk out the woods.
The sharing of the bag as a well prepared dinner ( recommend L.L. Bean's Cookbook, here)
Warm sleeping bag (if out in the bush)

1oz, not bustin' you're balls, but a BM is a complete POS and a PP requires excess care and servicing constantly. Pretty it is, robust, durable, etc. it is not. My family owned three high-end jewelry stores in the Atlanta area and I've been wearing premium Swiss watches for decades. Believe me, there is nothing tougher than a Rolex. Best resale and collector value of all...
while we're at it, my solid 18K white gold PP Calatrava. Hardly ever wear it, but I have one PP in my watch collection...
