What firearms related Christmas gifts did everyone get?

Not just good ones...

My FIL taught me reloading and let me apprentice under him for a while. That experience was worth more than any present. But I would've took a new Hornady LnL if he wanted to get me something.:D Just kidding of course. He gets me cool stuff like dies, primers and powder.

Wife got me a homeade certificate good for a hunting rifle of my choice. Been looking into a Browning .243 or Ruger .270 and paid the balance on my layaway for a Sig.Sauer AR Magpul m400 . Shes a keeper my friends!!!

I got a nifty sports bottle holder for my Windham :D:

BTW, CJohnson76, I've been very happy with my SRC. It's my first AR, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'm well over 1000 rounds in mine over the past few months, and have had absolutely zero problems with it. Not a single FTF of FTE or FT anything. It's as accurate as I can shoot, and I suspect it'll be even better when I put a better scope on it.

Best-received gift given was an old Ruger Mk I that I gave to a nephew. It needed a part replaced to make it operational, and he had it shooting by the next evening. (Helps that he works in a gun shop.) Even though he's got a decked-out Mk III, he has lusted for my old Mk I for a while. I rarely shot it, so I'm glad to see it go to a more loving home.

I got what I think is the awesomest gift anyone coukd have given me for christmas.
When i got to my parents house my dad gave me my grandfather's 30.06. I have been asking for one of the two of his for almost a decade now. I did a little research on it and it turns out it is a Remington model 1917 that was manufactured in October of 1918.

By far one of the best gifts I have ever gotten.

1968 2nd-Generation Colt Detective Special. Great finish, light and even wear, minimal turn line, amazing trigger, timing is right on, cylinder locks up tight.

Carry rig, speed loader, snap caps, & Buffalo Bore LSWCHP standard pressure 158-grain on the way. I don't believe in safe queens!

My first revolver, and as a guy who tends toward the tactical plastic stuff, I am amazed at how great I feel about this gun. It will not be my last wheel gun.

Got cash to pay gun club dues. Two associations and three club dues all come due January 1st, so that helps

Looking further into the benefit of this, it's a bigger meaning than some might realize. I can't count how many fellow gun owners I know that won't pay for membership at our local gun ranges. End result is they don't go hardly at all. Loss of quality/quantity training and the fun of shooting in general. All because they paid several hundred, if not, thousands of dollars for their firearm yet think $65/year is highway robbery.

I bought myself a GSG StG44. Santa never seems to remember to bring gun-related stuff, and instead brings me BBQ implements, Chia Pets, underwear, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I got 3 brand new Beretta 92fs mags for Christmas. Contact me if you'd like to buy. I don't need that many. I only asked for 1 to round out my collection. send an inquiry to ... iassogna. executive @ gmail . com

Now to wait for next Christmas....

Agreed. The closest indoor range from me is 30 miles away. I have a couple of outdoor ranges close but winters can be rough.
