What factors made you choose your defensive handgun?

My usual conditions are

- A reliable brand, not necessarily has to be expensive. Smith&Wesson, Glock, Ruger, and Springfield. H&K's and Sig's are great but only if I have the extra $$ to spend.

- Overall feel has to be good and fit my hand well.

- Options available i.e. external safeties, rail for lights, ambidextrous, etc.

- Size is usually last. Anything can be conceal carried with the right setup.
 
Right now it's a Mosin Nagant, sadly. Everything else I own is locked up in a safe, and I'm not really a pistol guy. I would saw it down to an orbez, but Mine is actually really rare. German captured (WW1) and sold to Ginland, where converted. It's in pretty sweet condition too, with probably a 4 lb trigger pull, which is sweet for this gun.

No need to say, if I ever need to grab this, I'll be screwed. Im trying to buy a makarov.
 
my factor in a defensive weapon is

I live in Cleveland Ohio ...do I need to say more???LOL I carry my Sig P220 Elite do to accuracy and the fact its so reliable and its a 45cal.:D
