What "excuse' do you use the most?

Giving credit where credit is due ...

he's kinda (or shoulda) outgrown the need to make excuses to anybody for anything, unless you're in familiar enough company to be light hearted and joke around a bit.

We certainly hope we have outgrown making excuses and it doesn't take much to spot the ones who haven't. The only time I make excuses, is when someone asks. Then I usually blame it on Global Warming. I no longer shoot competition so don't take credit for shooting well. Again, when asked about how well I shot, I usually reply; I like the way I have this firearm set up.

If I'm shooting worse than my buddies on a particular day then I usually just blame Obama. He had to have something to do with it.

No excuses at all, I simply don't shoot enough.

If I shoot badly (particularly my CZs or Ruger) the excuse I most often give is that I have bad shooting technique.

However, I think we can all agree that it was the guns....

However, it's more often than not, accurate, when that excuse is used. At least back when I bought mostly cheap rifles.

When I'm shooting pistol targets at ten yards with a .45, I've been known to grumble about the wind. Might as well make it a big one.
