What do YOU prefer?

I'm the only one who went with the Taurus so far. I have the .40 S&W version--the PT101. I prefer it over the Beretta because of the safety-decock lever configuration, and because it has a fully-adjustable rear sight.

And yeah, I can't believe you left out the Sigs.

Ruger P95. Reliable, cheap hi-caps, smaller/lighter than some others on the list (Beretta 92, for instance). Fits my hand -- I shoot it better than other 9mms I have tried. Way less expensive than many listed, without sacrificing function or quality.

Your mileage may vary, chacun a son gout, different strokes and all that. The best choice is the one that you can make consistent fast hits with.

I'll take a Sig P220 or HK USP in 45 first.

Sig P228 with high capacity magazine's; compact,
accurate, and reliable. I prefer the West German
version, for their extremely fine craftsmanship.
Mine is a W. German version and was imported into
Herndon, VA; and it's German proof's indicate it
was manufactured in 1990.
