I would choose the Glock 17, primarily because mine, after 46,391 rounds, it has YET TO FAIL. It has seen use in the desert, rain forest, salt water and extreme cold and has never let me down. It's as dependable as my Ithaca 1911 WWII produced .45. Never fails. PERIOD.

The only 9mm that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want is a Sig P210. It is just so extravagantly (sp?) cool... too bad they are so expensive.

Ironically enough, my next preference in a 9mm would be a CZ-75.
