What did you carry today?

I've been carrying my Ruger LCP every day for the last 6 weeks or so since I bought it.

Today, on a fishing trip with my wife, I broke out the Springfield TRP 1911 in a Galco OWB Fletch holster. Had a spare mag in Don Hume carrier under my untucked button up shirt.

It's nice and hot today, but I felt like going big anyway.

Today I carried my Taurus PRO 745, .45ACP, while I bought some .380 ACP for my recently purchased all steel Italian made Beretta 70S. I also found a nearly new .380 magazine for $30 at a local gun shop.

At the indoor shooting range, I put 150 rounds thru the 70S. No FTF, burps or hiccups of any kind! Not bad for a handgun that's been discontinued for well over 20 years!

I carried my S&W Airlite T 38 special. It is light, concealable, powerful and accurate close in, where I would shoot it. It fits in my front pocket in a pocket holster and does not print; and I can get to it quickly too.

This morning after the rain I carried my Security Six out to to my deck and tested a series of reloads. Then I carried my Buckmark with me as I did chores to shoot gophers and chipmunks. After that I swiched to the Taurus 605 for a ride on the horse, then back to the Buckmark for evening chores.
Most days the 605 gets the call, all day and all night.

What a great idea for a thread btw, this should be on every gun forum out there.

I took my family to the zoo today and after the San Fransisco fiasco I decided my normal .380 and 14 rounds was maybe not enough, besides I like to carry big on the weekends when I am out more. So I carried my Glock 19 strong-side right IWB with a Galco Natural holster (with suicide thumb break cut off the day I bought it) and an extra magazine weak-side left pocket in one of those rubber belt mag holsters (intended for belt carry but the little rubber wings make is sit up in the pocket real nice).

9mm may not be a big game stopper, but 31 rounds of of +P rangers at my disposal made me feel quite a bit more comfortable then a lot of the other two legged TV dinners I was walking around with in there. :)

That may be well and good against most of the zoo animals...but you will be wishing you were better armed if one of these gets loose and comes at you. :D

Finally, after all this time...an excuse to show the butt-gun monkey pic again. :)

Today I didn't go anywhere. I just tinkered around outside and in my shop. Worked on a knife for someone for an hour or so. Through all this my SP101 has been in my AKJ Concealco IWB at 4:00.

All I carried today was my Kershaw knife. Couldn't carry a handgun today as I was out around the lake scouting out some whitetail and turkey spots. I really wish I could carry out on the lake property. :(

LOL PbP!

Monkeys with Frickin' sniper rifles on their frickin' backs! LOL

I am so not going to that zoo, handgun in any caliber > .22LR rifle.

I carried my HK P2000sk in a cheap Uncle Mike's holster. I want to get something better to carry it in, but it works well for now. I usually don't carry this particular pistol often, but it's a lot easier to conceal in some of my more stylish summer clothes.
