I thought it might be fun to start a couple of running threads.

I thought it might be a good resource for people considering a new purchase of a carry gun. This one will be a place to chime in on what you carried today, whether it is your usual carry or something you tried for the first time, and how you carried it. Maybe even answer some questions about your CCW and method if someone else sees someone carrying a gun they are considering.

Feel free to chime in as many days as you like (some of us alternate between multiple carry guns) and, as usual, visual aids are always welcome. :)

Today felt like a revolver day so I carried my S&W m640 in a Don Hume belt slide holster at 2:30 OWB.

What I CC most days, my G29. Still my favorite for seven years now. Occasionally carry something else, just for fun; but, always come right back to the G29!

Have CC many different guns over the years, big/small pistol/revolver, just have not found one that fits as well for me; Yet!

Still looking to see if I can find something to turn my fickle head. Have not found it yet, but they keep making them, and I keep looking and sometimes buying.

And that truly is the fun of it!
 
Today, and most days I carry a Sig P229 in .40 S&W, Golden Saber or Corbon JHP, 12-rd mag +1, and a spare mag. To me the 229 is a good blend of physical size, caliber, mag capacity and reliability.

Have also carried the XD45 and 92FS, but they are both larger and depending on where I am going more challenging to carry.
 
Since I'm drinking my morning coffee as I read this I'll refer to yesterday.

Went to visit my father in the rest home (can't carry inside). Picked up tickets to the theater for Saturday nights production and then headed over to the hospital (can't carry inside) to check a schedule. On the way home stopped by the Flying Fish for a great fried catfish lunch and then made a few other stops along the way.

My carry piece, well that would be a Sig P239 .357sig. While I felt warm and fuzzy it wasn't from the Sig, it was a freaking 99 degrees with high humidity yesterday!

Oh well, today will be probably be much of the same.
 
I have not carried anything yesterday. We can not bring a firearm to work. We then went to the eye doctor at Walmart then I walked later, that was the only times outside so I did not carry then either.
 
As I'm still waiting for a decent carry holster to arrive for my G26, I continue to carry my Kahr CW40 every day in a Crossbreed Supertuck at 4:30 or so.

It's an epically good carry gun and I'm not entirely sure I'll wind up carrying the G26 all that regularly, but I wanted a little variety in my carry options and I just flat-out wanted a Glock.
 
:(Can't carry on a federal installation;). The folks at the gate also don't like you having a firearm in the vehicle when they search it:o and you can't leave it in the vehicle while you are at work.

Life can be so complicated. If I had carried it would have been a Kahr P-9 in a Galco Deep Cover or Colt Agent in a Tauris Ankle holster, maybe both. just saying.....
 
yesterday i had my SA Ultra Compact in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Itll go back on hip again today when i get ready to leave
 
Yesterday, Sig P239 9mm with TAP 115gr IWB, and a spare mag.

Two days ago, Ruger SP101 with El Dorado Starfire 150gr in a fanny pack holster, and a speedloader.

Both days, an Applegate-Fairbairn folder.
 
What a carry 80% of the time...Seecamp.

10% of the time...nothing, cant find seecamp and too lazy to put something else on.

10% of the time, SIG 210 or Custom BHP or Custom Defender.

Today is my HK P2000SK w/124gr Federal HST's in Milt Sparks VMII holster and belt by thebeltman carried at my 3:30.

My carry is the H & K usp 45 compact, great ergonomics, reliable as any and more accurate than me. I carry in a OWB De Santis speed scabbard at just behind my right hip. Only problem is it prints in the summer. So I am trying to find the Ruger CLP at a decent price that doesn't include a 3 month wait.
 
Today, like most workdays with a tucked in shirt, is a SW 637 inside pocket. I also carry a Gerber F.A.S.T. knife in my strong side back pocket.
