This week: HK USP .45 fullsize (used.)
Last week: Signed wife up for the NRA. Gave her the receipt in a gift box and told her it was her birthday present. She was not amused. Luckily for me, I came prepared with a pair of diamond earrings hidden underneath. Probably the only reason I had a prayer of getting the HK.

Now I got a Remington 597. Bull barrel, Laminated stock. Put a nice Redfield 4x12x40 on it. Sweet little tack driver.

Let's see:
*custom-made glass stock for my Anschutz -- bedded and floated. Primer, filler, sandpaper, lacquer, clear top coat -- now sports a blue metalflake finish.
* two Uncle Mike QD swivel clips
* trigger job for the above rifle. It was 11 lbs ex-factory!! with a warning "not to adjust it" (thanks to US litigation). Now it's 10 oz and like a glass rod breaking.
