What Did I Buy?

So I went to a gunshot today with high hopes of finding some reloading stuff... None. I also brought my smith 617 along just in case I saw a gun I liked( been lookin to trade it). Well on my way out I spotted a Remington 700 I loved! I traded my 617 plus $400 for the Remington. It has a heavy contour barrel an the price tag had "Remington 700 police" on it. Well I made the trade and brought it home. It's a 308. I looked it up and it seems that new Remington police models don't come with a detachable magazine, mine did. Is this rather a Remington 700 pss? Or did someone upgrade to a detachable mag? It came with a scope (bushnell 3-12x50) (pic below) and a Harris bipod. Did I make a good deal?

nice rifle, I'd say you probably gave in a little too early and should have held out for a better deal but you didn't get robbed. the glass on it looks quite nice so you could have done a lot worse.
