What caliber would be easiest to convert to

Lol

Harry, I think we all get bombarded by the guys that swear the deer they shot was a might over 400 yds, even down here where the longest shot on most places is barely over 100 yds. I have a cousin that used to swear he killed deer all the time with his 30-30 that were around 400 yds away, the only problem is the longest shot he could have taken was just over 150 yds on any of the deer stands he could have taken a shot from much less the fact he has never even attempted to sight his rifle in at more than 200 yards.....lol but he still is s deer killin' rascal.

Makes you wonder how the South ever lost the War with boys that could shoot the wings off a fly at 100 paces.

Or another way of saying they lost a war oa atrition where they couldn't afford to resuppy the troops with food, ammo, or simply replace their soldiers.

I usta work with a guy that had a 30-06 that would shoot "dead on " at 800 yards. Shot better, farther than other rifles in 30-06's. He told me about the deer he had killed at 800 yards to prove it. I never said a word just smiled to myself and enjoyed the entertainment.

Remington still loads for the 6MM. Factory ammo is available.

that aint nothin:

Hey Guys:
I have a new ballistic theory: The air closests to the ground is heavier than air further up - so what makes some guns shoot "FLAT: is the greater air pressure under the bullet that raises it toward the lighter air - but this only works in certain envireoments - like on the planet Vega during the winter solstices, ( or whatever.)
This causes the bullet to keep on rising until the energy goes out of it - the bridge it hits causes this topgeter with those them there turns you told me about. :D

Terry,

I have an old Herter's U-9...it's a great rifle. As other folks have said, there's absolutely nothing wrong w/the 6mm Rem, especially for what you want to do. It wouldn't take much of an investment to get started reloading for it, either. You probably won't save any money, but you'll do more shooting. :)
