What are we gonna do if Gore gets elected?

USP45, He is in Jail cause he was stupid and said he wanted people to get killed. Maybe not his exact words but he was advocating shooting police. We have gone around on this before. I agree with the man on almost every point except this. When he made those comments he became cannon fodder and as big of a danger to gun owners as the MMM. I personally think that he as arrested for bull**** reasons that were probably made up anyway. But when you act like that there will be people who will try to stop you. And a part of me thanks god because if things would have turned out like he wanted we would probably be looking at a Gore victory. "Look at these wacko gun owners. They shoot police officers. We must stop them even if it means banning all weapons" He would get a huge amount of the vote on that line. We must tread carefully. VERY carefully. Bide our time.. Because someday our time will come.

Now what would I do if Gore won?
1: Cry for a long while. because any hope I ever had of having a family would be gone. I would never bring a child into the kind of world he would create.

2: Pray. Because I know what would be coming. We would start hearing about a lot more shootings. THen it would of course be "For the Children"

3: Wait.

4: When the time comes and they completely disband the Consitution, I am not there. That simple. Kevin Who?

We will find each other. At first in small groups. Then progresivly larger groups. Texas and some other states would hold out. I forsee a 60/40 military split (mayber 70-30) in our favor but with The goverment getting the Agencies(ATF, FBI, ETC) so it will be about even. Police would be mostly on our side.. THey will have orginization we would have dedication and the Truth. And of course God. Then we die. Because while we are killing each other off you can bet that China and other countries will take full advantage of it.. Of course this assumes that the UN doesn't stick it's nose into our business. And I would bet they will. So in that case it just gets ugly.. And we lose as a military force. Of course there is always other options.

I may be outspoken about this kind of thing at the moment but don't take that to mean that I have not thought about it. We win or lose in the ballot box this time people. No French to save our ass this time with a Naval Blockade.

My God in heaven, I'm crying right now. Our Country is being led by tyranical despots. I 'm an old broken down man who's only strength is his blathering mouth voicing his discontent with national authority. How could this generation do what it is doing...the apathy spoken of on this thread, how can a nation slip so low after what has been sacraficed for it. There are many parts of the world that hate us, they envey us, they dispise us. We have stuck our noses in areas where we had no right to medling and we are still doing it. We have paid the tab for reconstructing countries we've warred with, to only have them prosper and resent us for having fought and defeating them and building them back up again. When they in turn would have enslaved us if they had won. It's a crazy world. Now, this nation of ours who's privaledge to grow and prosper from the blood of our veterans both dead and alive have kept the red field of our flag red with their blood...have apperantly died for the rotten politicians who are puking on our constitutional rights. This generation today has no idea what it was like to fight such evil like that had prevailed in WW-2. The news media today in this country are nothing but whores who care nothing about where this country is going. They will side with the corrupt government opposition if they think it will further their own status and make the headlines for them...they are indeed whores...they have sold their souls to their profession of unethical biased reporting. If they had a modicom of decency they would report the governments stance to strip us of the right to keep and bare arms. As this right assures in the long run that they can continue to be the new media reporting the news to a free America. My heart is indeed broken. To think that all those honest and brave veterans who died and some still alive today...fought in vain for what is called America today. This generation sucks.

It saddens me to say it, but I still believe The Evil Al Gore will be elected (and not because of what the rigged CNN polls say). If you'll recall, Bush 1.0 was leading Clinton in the polls for a while in 1992, but Clinton overtook him.

The main problem is that the media have not seriously started their Bush 2.0 smear campaign yet (although the New York Times runs either a pro-Gore or anti-Bush "news" story every day now). Once the conventions are over, VP candidates named, and party platforms adopted, we'll see the media swing into high gear to elect The Evil One. I just don't think Bush has enough of a lead to be able to withstand such an attack. Plus there is bound to be at least one dirty trick from the DNC this year, and we don't yet know what effect it will have.

So I'm predicting we'll have Gore as president, and I've never doubted that New York has all the stupid voters needed to elect Hillary to the Senate.

Just as bad is the fact that Republicans marshalled their last shreds of integrity and personal conviction in 1994, and have been going downhill ever since. Republicans will still have a majority in the Senate next year (maybe even in the House, too, although that's not assured), but there's no use thinking a Republican Senate will do anything to preserve the Constitution -- far too many Republican Senators are either wholly incompetent (Thurmond), opportunistic liars (Hatch), or greedy appeasers (too many to name).

I've read many comments here from folks who think that it might be beneficial to have Gore elected, because that will force the inevitable confrontation between freedom and national socialism. Sorry, I don't agree. I believe we'll just see the erosion of all Constitutional freedoms pick up a bit more speed. Some Americans will grumble a little bit about this, but most of them will tell themselves that we still have some freedom left and times aren't really so bad, and then they'll settle down and watch "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and "Survivor" and they'll forget about it. Yes, a few Americans will bury their guns, but it won't make any difference. Their children won't know how to use them.

It's not about Gore, not directly. It's about Emerson at the Supremes.

If the "collective rights" argument gets enshrined, THEN what do we do?

That's the potential ultimate disaster, not Gore per se. Gore will do his damnest to make sure it happens though.

Jim (who sure as hell will NOT vote Libertarian this year!)

Get out there now and volunteer, work hard, and tell likely Gore voters that there vote isn't that important so they really don't need to vote at all. Seriosly we all need to email GWB and inform him of our support of the 2nd, there was a petition that I signed that went to him, its floating around the net somewhere. Gore only wins if we don't do anything and let it happen. So lets win this one. I told some Gorechicks I know that they should vote for Gore if they want armed resistance in this country. THey looked at me as if I was crazy and I told them that the line is drawn and alot of people will fight, kill, and die for their constitution just like they have done for 220 yrs. They colonist had it right.

If OwlGore gets in, we'll have two months to prepare. I intend to spend that two months buying all the .50BMG, .223, and 7.62 I can find, and metric buttloads of AR mags and SKS clips.

Thanks for a lovely start to my day, Jack. :(

Hoist up that pretty yellow flag with the cute snake on it. Then get ready for the knock on the door.

This has been said ad nauseum, but I'll say it again.

There are 80,000,000 lawful gun owners in the US. If we elect Gore then we deserve everything we get. If just one quarter of gun owners registered and voted for Bush, Gore would get slaughtered at the polls.

That's about it.

I get very angry with hunters in general (go ahead -- flame me), but as a group, they are too damn stupid to vote. I belong to a sports club with 215 members (max. allowable numnber and many on waiting list), plus their families and friends. I ask members if they are registered and if they are going to vote. Of the non-hunters, about half are and will. Of the hunters, about 1 in 10 are. That's pitiful. Hunters, for some inexplicable reason, don't think that gun-grabbers are coming after them. ("I don't own a handgun, and they'll NEVER try to take hunting rifles away.") That demonstrates to me a stupidity and selfishness that goes way beyond understanding.

Can anyone suggest some way to get gun owners to VOTE this fall?????

The first thing I'm going to do is get on the case of all the gun owners who didn't vote. Second thing I'm going to do is get on the case of those gun owners who squandered their vote on a 3rd party candidate. Third thing I'm going to do is... well... hmmm.. I'll have to think of something..

:)

Patrick, bud... that second move would be unwise, unless you like getting punched in the head several thousand times. ;)

Woodit--

I don't know what its gonna take. If the last 8 years haven't done it, what will? I know what you mean about hunters though. The guy with 3 or 4 bolt/lever rifles and as many shotguns in various configurations just doesn't think he's in danger. What would anyone want to take his Remington for? Most just don't get it.

Seriously guys (and gals), if we get Gored in November you ought to think about having some kind of anger management system in place. I know it sounds like psycho babble but being prepared for the psychological implications of a Gore victory might help you through the frustration and anger. Be prepared (and I don't mean a 12 pack in the fridge on election night).

Better days to be.

What if we all pitched in and bought our own little island? I bet there would be no crime what so ever there. :)

OTOH, if Gore wins we need to keep speaking our minds, keep writing Congrescritters, and most of all don't give up. It's not going to be a fun ride but we can't just sit around and cry. Anyway, I predict he isn't going to win (and I have been known to predict things correctly). If I am right, you can all send me some ammo :D

So basically...we just take it up the wazoo....right? The 2nd ammendment was written to give the citizens the ability to fight tyranny. If we do not fight.....then the 2nd....ain't worth the paper it's written on. :(

WTF? She has a CCW? Then why the hell does she belong to her own organization? Hypocrisy at its best!!!!!!!

Anywho back on topic.

My roommates girlfriend is wanting to vote for Gore simply for the reason that she saw him in a commercial answering a childs questions. How can someone base/waste a vote on an image? If there are more people like her then we are in trouble! ugh

Move to New Zeland.
I hear it's a nice country where they haven't thrown all their rights away--
--at least, not yet!

Woodit: There are 10 million gun owners in this country, and 70 million people who just happen to own guns. If you understand my meaning.

Pat bud,
Unwise to blame Gore's victory on people who didn't vote for him.
Especially if you voted for gun control.
