From what I own, it would be my Remington M700 in 270 win and Remington 541-S (22 LR). Add a third, it would be a 223 CZ or Remington.
When I was younger, my first rifle was a 243 win which I used for deer and woodchucks. It was a bit too much gun for the chucks, but it worked and I didn't have the luxury of having a lot of rifles. Later got the M700 in 270 win and much later sold the 243 simply because I was not doing any vamint hunting. If I were, I would have been shooting a 223 most likely and the 243 would still collect dust. But there is something to be said about having a backup rifle available as things can happen or you need it for a friend or relative.
A 22LR is always my first pick to have on hand.
The 270 and 30-06 are essentially cartridges of the same power except the -06 can handle larger grain bullets for perhaps larger game. But for most, the two are essentially equals.
