Ah, the best laid plans of mice and webmasters. Sorry for the lon g down time today. Well, at least we made it.

Actually, we had everything planned perfectly....or so we thought. The server was set up and we'd transferred all Member and Forum data as of yesterday...those were the big files. Today we only had to shut down the old site and grab the last of the files. This took only about 10 minutes. What we hadn't bargained for was the old UBB hog. The thread reindexing, required by UBB, is a long, tedious process.

At least we're here, though. Make yourselves at home while we continue the renovations.

Rich, let me be the first to say "super job". It didn't seem so long, well, ok the Prozac helped a lot. And I'm glad you got rid of those old fake Monets on the walls, the originals look much better.

Gunslinger...you may chop the veggies....I'd rather clean the fish. Meat chores are so much more straightforward and time efficient

But, you hafta slice the garlic ultra-thin, so it melts on heating...I'm extremely picky about that

I was really hoping that the reason I could not post anything was because of the move to the new place. Holy s***, guys look at the 1,000 yard range. What's the sign, MODERATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS ONLY?

I am sure glad that move is done. Two forums I belong to have moved this last month due to lack of band width.

DC, Iff'n you need some barbecue sauce, let me know, I make a real good one. Love a good pulled pig sandwich.

I spent a few months in St. Louis, MO a few years ago. Some guy suggested BBQ for lunch, so a few of us go to this hole-in-the-wall downtown soulfood place. "Pulled pig sandwich" is on the menu....not what a Cali person expected as BBQ, but it was absolutely exquisite!!
