Wearing Firearms Related Clothing

they probably don't even know what Mossberg is!

Isn't that what the Titanic hit?

I don't wear firearms related clothing, put stickers on my car or anything like that. It's not because I'm afraid of what people will think of me, it's because I don't want some lowlife punk following me home and coming back to break in when I'm not home.

I only have 1 T that I got for Christmas It says "NOT" in huge red letters & made in China & the S & W logo underneath. Usually gets a few smiles & it covers my IWB VM2 & Kimber Eclipse Ultra 2 .45 nicely

I think I may have been misunderstood .

I in no way meant that the pro gun guys only want there guns and to heck with everything else . In fact I mean kinda the opposite .

When I see people saying they will not support the pro gun movement in every way posible cus they will not be paid or they never have people throwing stones at them or giving them the thumbs up is selfish .

This is one of those times when we need to do what ever we can as the pro gun guys . I'm not a big fan of Taurus but I would wear there shirt if it would help . It bothers me that some will not even do the most simple things to help are cause like put on a shirt or hat with a gun logo on it .

I think if every gun owner put on some type of positive gun related clothing every day for the next week it would be noticed .

Ahhhh -- thanks for explaining. You're right -- I completely misunderstood you.

I agree that we do all need to stand together.

Years ago when the Fuzzy Bunny Machine Gun Company was still around I bought some "Molon Labe" polo shirts. I was exploring an Anasazi ruin when I crossed paths with a couple. The woman read my shirt and pronounced it. I asked her how she knew. She was Greek (Duh).

I generally don't wear anything that shouts guns or advertise my interest in guns. Decades ago I learned not to wear anything that suggested my profession and instead I tried to be a cameleon or the invisible man. I was with a study partner in a park one day when some woman's dog ran over my friend (we were lying on the ground, looking at the sky and discussing school work). Anyway, the woman owner came over and apologized and asked my friend if he was a cop. She said he looked like one. He thought it was funny that she had the wrong person.

Now at ranges with the guys it didn't matter. At school where everyone is a gunner doesn't matter either. Still, I avoid it as I may have to stop somewhere between school and home. No one should know I have a gun or an interest in those icky things.

clothes, media reports....

I read today that the huge corp that owns Bushmaster(the 5.56mm rifle the dead subject used). Stocks are starting to fall too for other gun makers.
Companies like S&W, Colt Defense, HK, StagArms, Beretta, etc don't seem to be very vocal or open either.
Author, sworn LE officer & legal use of force expert; Massad Ayoob wrote several years ago that he wouldn't wear his own training school's clothing items off the range. Ayoob's training program; Lethal Force Institute(LFI) didn't have a macho or aggressive logo either.

How about a million+ man march on Washington wearing firearms apparel? Too bad Washington DC doesn't have an open carry law. A million armed man march would be an even better idea. Wait, wait a million men armed with 'assault' rifles, would be more to the point. :)
