A list of legislation the Brady Campaign is proposing to the new incoming administration can be found here: http://www.bradycampaign.org/xshare/pdf/politics/obama-transition-memo.pdf
Here is a quick peek at the Table of Contents:
On the good news side, for the first time I can remember, the antis are spending a lot of time and effort trying to repeal previous laws rather than force new laws down our throat (though as you can see, they still devote the majority of time and effort to that). It shows what eight years of playing offense can do to help protect our rights during the more trying times. I think the memo also gives gun owners a peek at what the more "moderate" Brady Campaign is trying to achieve after having been foiled on their original goal of banning handguns (everybody here at TFL surely remembers the original name of the Brady Campaign, right?)
More importantly, by better understanding the laws the Brady Campaign is proposing, we will better understand what type of effect these laws may have on our rights.
