Wasting money on hunting rifles

A few years ago I sold down to a Model 70 in 280, a Ruger 77/22, and a Benelli Super Black Eagle, thinking I could cover everything I needed to do for hunting. I usually hold on to pistols.

Anyhow, somebody would come along with this or that and the next thing you know I had twenty again.

It's a disease. No, an affliction. Whatever.:)

Lord knows how many guns I've bought and sold, quite a few, pistols, rifles and shotguns. I have never lost money on guns. In some cases I've gotten 4 or 5 times what I paid for them. Guns are the best thing I ever invested in.

I've always bought with a purpose in mind. That said, some rifles and pistols, just weren't comfortable for me to shoot, or didn't live up to the hype. There aren't places here to rent and shoot firearms to try out. But compared to what other people do with their money, I think I did alright. My hunting and fishing adventures, with my rifles and sidearms have been golden. My firearms for HD and self defense are absolutely essential.

Its the furthest thing from wasting money! if u are into guns and shooting, buying guns is about the same as someone liking sports and buying sports equipment. I only have one gun right now, but i enjoy shooting it, and sometimes just taking it out of the case and dusting it off. I do intend on buying at least 3 or 4 more soon.

wasting/ blah

It is never a waste when you purchase a gun, if you decide to sell it it should return close to what you paid for it in the first place.
