Peter,
Ok. Got back from the range yesterday, and did the magnet thing while cleaning the P22. Here's what I found:
Magnetic: (some are real obvious)
Barrel, barrel sleeve & nut, receiver, trigger assembly & hammer (but not the trigger itself), guide rod & spring, mag release, rear sight, all the screws I could get a magnet on. Also, the roll pins are all magnetic.
Non-magnetic:
Frame (incl. rails, & barrel housing block), slide, and the trigger.
On to bigger things. Re: your comment about the clays, yesterday was the first day I shot it with the 3.4 inch barrel. We have to get a 100yd comp going. Shooting Stingers, drop was about 15 inches at 100yds. After I figured out my holdover, I got three rounds at 4.5 inches horizontal, and 1.8 inches vertical spread, just fooling around with a r.h. barricade hold between rifle shots. Kind of hard to spot the hits.
10-12" Paper plates painted flourescent orange under flat black sounds like fun.
