Walmart

I really want to bop those people on the head and say "Bad customer" like you would do to a dog. They won't take "no" for an answer.

Wow.......I hope I never have to go to your store. You need to go check out customers suck.com.............always good for some laughs at the expense of those silly consumers.

Our Wally sells lots of inexpensive .22s and shotgunns. They do carry some centerfire rifles and muzzle loaders.

Ammo is the big seller. It is not unusual to walk past the ammo cabinet and see it full and return 5 minites later and find all the 9mm and .45 WWB sold. However, we have very nice and helpful people working in that department who will actually go in back and get more when needed, including selling the WWB in 500 round cartons to make it easier to carry out.

Sure they don't sell pistols, serious pistol ammo, or anything beyond bare-bones shotguns and rifles. but they are still a great asset to the hunters and shooters of our area.

Oh, and I do not own any Wally World stock.

Haha, no. I am lucky that very few customers are the "bad dog" type. I just got out on a rant about the craptacular website Wal-Mart has and the problems it sometimes causes us.

When I was writing my previous post I remembered one particularly nasty lady from a week ago and it just kinda got me going and I couldn't stop. "You had it in Fargo. WHY don't you have it here???" She then went on to make some rather derogatory comments about me and my co-workers. So yea, I make an effort to forget those people. Most of my customers are great to talk to.

As for Customerssuck.com. I'm Crosshair there too. Look at my entries on the "Things not allowed to do at work" list.:D I liked the old paint shaker we used to have because I could make instant pudding in it for lunch. I even used it as a brass tumbler a few times.

It's hard for me to avoid going to wal-mart because of my hours. I work 6pm to 6am, so on my off days I usually go to wal-mart just because they're open and I can get pretty much everything there in the middle of the night. Except I don't believe they sell guns at the one by my new place. The wal-mart by my last house had guns, but they sure did dwindle over the years.

I wish Sportsman's Warehouse was open 24x7. In fact, I wish everywhere was 24x7, would make my life a lot easier.

If you're mad at your wal-mart for not selling guns, then write a letter and don't shop there until they bring them back. Do what the other poster suggested, get your gun club / friends to write letters too. Maybe start a petition. The thing is, if people aren't buying guns there I don't see why they'd carry them. I would rather buy a gun from a small shop anyway.

The Walmart closest to me cleared their gun section at really low prices... All the guns were marked at 20% off.

Then they stopped carrying guns for a year, now they have the biggest hunting section I've seen in a Walmart, fully stocked with bolt actions, semi auto hunting rifles, pump shotguns and semi shotguns. And a huge selection of ammo.

Sometimes when they "stop" selling guns it's probably just a reason to clear out some stuff that's been sitting there for a while.

I tried to find out which Walstores were still selling firearms by accessing the website last night. What a joke! Although I was able to see pics of the guns they still sell in some of their stores, I had to phone the local store to find which ones still carry guns. Even the associate in sptg. goods didn't know[no surprise] and had to ask someone else. I got three stores within an hour of home to call. Will try later, but I'm afraid my area has been Hillaryized. Hope you have better luck.
