Vote on the best semi-auto shotgun

A lefty's view

For the first 30 years of my hunting life I'd say the Browning A-5 light 12.

For the last 13 years, a Browning Gold. Being a lefty, the ability to switch the safety over to left handed operation is a big plus. I didn't realize how difficult it was to reach under the receiver to take the safety off. After a 20 year lull I've started duck hunting again and the Gold is the only shotgun I use.

For doves, a Rizzini 12 O/U from SigArms.

For quail, a Stefano Fausti 410 O/U or a Fox 410 S/S.

My opinion?

Well...I'm not one to play games with a gun so I can't say for pretend birds.
But, I have owned pumps, semi-autos, O&U, SXS,single shots and even a couple of combo rifle / shotguns, By far for a hunting "SHOT" gun, it has to be the Benelli SBE2.
It will shoot all the hunting loads I use from 2 3/4 game loads to 3.5" turkey and steel loads, so far...no problems. I have had it for 3 yeras and shoot it every year for turkey and waterfowl.
For a "SLUG"gun...I'm still looking.
For a tactical...whats a "tactical"...some special shell or something? (just kidding)
For one of them "tactical" type guns...I want a Mossberg 930 SPX...............: N E A T !! :....
