Very narrow question about 7mm bullets for "very large" game.

The Cutting edge bullets 'raptor' could be a viable choice.

The bullet is designed to have several pieces of shrapnel break off as they enter the target, and then the 'base' of the bullet acts like a wadcutter type projectile once the shrapnel detaches. Essentially, the bullet is designed to simultaneously give you more shallow controlled fragmentation damage and deep penetration through bone.

Video is of a .270 with the raptor, but it gives you an idea of what the projectile is meant to do.

I use Berger VLD Hunting slash Target in 168 grains in my 7mm rem mag, and it loves them, probably not the pick for my whitetail hunt but for elk, maybe. Just found a good load featuring 160 Accubond bullets and IMR 7828, and that would be my main choice for elk and my rifle, but not sure if the neck would be my final target, hopefully the beast would give me adecent shot, I would take it if it was my last chance at a super bull...
