whitefeather,
You are correct, everyone is racist. Only the other side...I am white.....is allowed to openly display their racism and wield it without consequence. Anyone on our side is demonized like AR did here for even the slightest hint of a racist statement or even one that someone can assume was racist.
The fact is that when walking down the street, I am somewhat leery of everyone. You never know when anyone will attack you.
However, let's face it. The prisons are filled to capacity with black people. The worst areas in every city are filled with black people. Statistically speaking, and the statistics don't lie, you are more likely to be a victim of violent crime at the hands of a young, black male. There is a pervasive and horrible culture within the black communities around the nation that says education, clean living, drug free, intact families, alcohol free life is acting white. Sorry, but those are the facts. Not according to ME, those were the thematic elements most talked about during the million man march years ago. Those are the things that Bill Cosby has been demonized for saying.
Now before anyone jumps, that's not saying all black people are bad. In fact, some of the nicest people I know are black....of course, they would be called uncle Tom's by the "REAL" blacks. You only count as a real black to many of the black commuity if you are dealing and have a record.
So to be honest, if I go to the ballpark here in Atlanta (predominantly black community) I am on guard moreso than if I was in a predominantly white suburbia. Does that make me a racist? Hell no. That makes me a realist. If in a given area I am more likely to be a victim, I am more on edge.
