Value Priced Revolver for CC

doug s, so you have bought 7 taurus guns and they were all bad. i really don't know what to say about that. all in a row? one after the other? any brand can produce a lemon now and then but 7 in a row? you bought 1 bad gun and went back for a 2nd, 3rd, 4rd, 5th, 6th and 7th all in a row? well you have said it all, there is nothing i can add to that. i'm speachless. maybe jerry lewis can have a telathon for you. i guess i'll go buy a lottery ticket:)

This is off topic a bit, but if you find a gas station that waters their gas, please ask them for me, how they got around the laws of physics. I used to manage a station. I thought this legend would have been killed by common sense years ago, but I hear it all the time. Gas floats on water. They do not mix.

Had a customer with a no start who had this exact same problem. Car ran fine for miles. Stopped and filled her tank. Pulled out of a gas station with a full tank. Car died while she was trying to leave. You are correct that it did not mix. It was in there under a couple of gallons of gas.

This was before E10. Now gasoline and water DO mix- to an extent.

dalegribble,

Once again, your comments are off base. I never said I had 7 bad ones. Two were perfectly fine. One had a minor problem of a too close barrel/cylinder gap. I am sorry I got into this conversation, and kept it going. I'll admit I was offended by being accused of lying, but I will not justify your comments by providing further details. I guess I'm used to associating with a higher class of people than yourself, and kinggabby. I'm also used to dealing with people who can admit when they were wrong. I'll conclude my comments by simply pointing out the obvious... you are not "spea(e)chless", you're just illiterate (evidently, after reading your last post, illiterate both intellectually and grammatically).

dear doug s,
i am sorry that you feel so insecure that you have to keep attacking me. i'm sorry that i find your posts and misfortunes so unbelievable, what are the odds professor? certainly someone as educated as you would have better sense (see above). i don't doubt that you may have had trouble with a taurus handgun, even custom gun builders that charge thousands of dollars have a failure rate. what seems so incredible to me is how many failures you experienced and your willingness to keep beating your head against your particular wall. have you attained tenure yet professor? or should i call you gilligan. although i'm sure you will keep baiting me this is my last post in the subject, you don't need me to make yourself look foolish.

Certain posters here need to be reminded that the Forum Rules require posters to be courteous, civil and reasonably thoughtful in their postings. Personal attacks and puerile bickering are among the few things expressly prohibited in the rules.

Forum moderators are like air strikes - relatively easy to call in and difficult to call off once they begin to unload on target.
Let's not go there.

It doesn't matter who initiated the behavior. If some self-discipline isn't shown right quick, then several posters may find out first hand how moderators deal with the issue.

What the heck is going on in here? I can't keep track because of the fighting.

I hope the OP enjoys his Rossi, if not I would suggest a Ruger SP101, which I believe can be had without the hammer

Nice aquisition, your new baby eagle. A superb fight gun, and far more fun at the range than most snubbies.

WayneinFL,

You are very correct. That is exactly what happens when you get water in your gas. Most people attribute their poor-running car on "watery gas", when just as your friend found out, their car would not run at all if they had water. What I was refering to was the old "those cheap so & sos put water in their gas to streach it out and make more money" line I have heard before. Such a station would have dozens of broken down cars near by in about an hour or so. Accidental water content can, and does, occur.
