Value of "U.S." marked Ruger MKI 22 pistol.

I don't know, and I wonder if anyone does. I can say, however, that the 1st contract guns are by far the most prevalent, as they show up for sale online and at gun shows with some regularity. This makes sense since the 1st contract run makes up for about 2/3 of the total production.
 
I recently found this thread and wanted to add the following info.
In my possession is a US marked Ruger Mk1 serial # 15001x
This would mean that there are a few more made than you had read about.
