UpLULA - should come standard w/a Shield :D

I have several of those puppies for difference sized mags on different guns. I love them. But, does anyone know how they came up with the bizarre name. :confused:I mean not only is it awkward to pronounce, but it looks like a truncated sentence. Up Lula's What?

Maybe we could help them by starting a thread of recommended better names.

A great product deserves a better name!

Believe it is an acronym for
Universal
Pistol

UnLoading
Assister.
The UpLULA[emoji769] is a military-grade, pocket-size, universal pistol magazine loader and unloader designed to load and unload virtually all* 9mm Luger up to .45ACP single and double stack magazines of all manufacturers. It also loads most .380ACP single and double-stack mags, and 1911’s mags. The UpLULA[emoji769] loader self-adjusts to the magazine and loads it easily, painlessly, and reliably !

Nice. Can you post a link. Would love to get me another one. Thanks
You have to install the Wikibuy plug in into your browser.
Then when you find something to buy online, in the lower right hand part of the screen a pop up comes up and tells you if it finds a lower price online for that object.

The day I bought mine, Amazon Marketplace had them for $23.95 with free shipping and no tax.

The regular Amazon and Miday and everywhere else had them for $30.95 to $34.95.

a UpLULA was advised to me when purchased a 9mm Shield couple years ago . Guess I'm a Sissy ,Sales Guy at LGS hand loaded up both 8 and 7 round Mags with ease. :o

Just a heads up...

There are a good number of knock-offs on Amazon & eBay.

Most of 'em are selling ~$10 less than the real ones. I think I had inadvertently ordered one of these fakes (see previous post) from a merchant on eBay.

When I got the loader, the blister pack was a dead giveaway. Flimsy plastic instead of the hard plastic shell that my original came in. The insert in the packaging was also of an inferior quality. The unit itself looked legit, however.

For a $10 diff, I would rather have the real thing.

I have one of those Baby UpLulas, too. Someone gave it to me for my single-stack .380 (Sig P238). It works as well as the big one, but the need for it is less. I still use it, though. Good company, a shame they are fighting counterfeiting.
