I have the Chip McCormick smooth (and thin) grips on my Kimber Pro. The thinness of the grips took a little getting used to. It affected my accuracy at first, since I did not have the full grip I am used to - I spend a lot of time with my Beretta's, so you can see the initial issue.
Now I am just fine with them. They are not checkered, so I can carry with the grips against my skin. Over all, I would recommend them.
