Uh-oh on moon clips

Be aware that some 625-2 revolvers will fire .45 ACP rounds without the clip and some will not. They're supposed to but there were quite a few made with headpsace variations that won't give you 100% full pin strikes. I have one from 1988 that needs clips and have seen others the same way. I have not seen this with any Model 25-2. You'll find out when you get it on the range.

No, Sir, we were not, originally. My reply was to the effect that shooters don't consider a chore the preparations required to fire their favorite guns, whether it be loading clips, magazines, or loose powder and ball.

My response was in reply to the one who commented on the "trouble" of loading.

I regret if you considered that off topic.
