Uh, just bought an NEF Pardner Pump :-|

dude I have killed so many ducks with my NEF, ill beat any 870 with my nef pardner pump. dont let anyone bash on u bro its a sick gun.

id get a used 500, or 870 rather than a pardner.
Why dude, gimme ONE good reason
Figure the new magazine spring is a good idea simply because that seems to be the greatest problem with low cost firearms.
Nope, the most common problem I have had with my 870 is a sticky chamber wen I first got it....I took a 12 ga brush and stuck it in a drill and made the chamber a little wider with some buffing compound, now it has literally thousands of rounds through it....3" hunting loads and 2 3\4" target loads and its banging. no problems. Just store it upside down, start early because when the oil leaks down into the stock it softens it over years and years....

I am with Troy...
I only buy chinese when an offering from a free nation with free enterprise is not available....

1: made in the usa
2: both have DECADES more history than the nef.
3: some 870 accessories fit the nef, both the 500, and 870 have tons more available than the nef.

you said:

which doesnt make much sence as the nef pp is a chinese COPY of the 870.

So no one gets the wrong info. All 870 accessories and parts fit the Pardner Pump and Hawk 982. Barrels and scope mounts with 870 hole spacing are the only two things that don't fit. Barrels don't because barrel lug ring is lower on the barrel. Other than that 870 barrels would be a drop in fit.
