Why dude, gimme ONE good reasonid get a used 500, or 870 rather than a pardner.
Nope, the most common problem I have had with my 870 is a sticky chamber wen I first got it....I took a 12 ga brush and stuck it in a drill and made the chamber a little wider with some buffing compound, now it has literally thousands of rounds through it....3" hunting loads and 2 3\4" target loads and its banging. no problems. Just store it upside down, start early because when the oil leaks down into the stock it softens it over years and years....Figure the new magazine spring is a good idea simply because that seems to be the greatest problem with low cost firearms.
id get a used 500, or 870 rather than a pardner.

dude I have killed so many ducks with my NEF, ill beat any 870 with my nef pardner pump.
Some 870 accessories fit the nef, both the 500, and 870 have tons more available than the nef
