S stepmac New member Apr 29, 2013 #21 Years ago I bought a sealed case of '06 rounds. When I opened it I found that all of the ammo was AP and packed in bandoliers...I think eight clips of 8 rds. Those AP rounds were corrosive as heck...head stamped 1952 as I recall.
