Bart B. When I was shooting BR biggest concern was making weight and I had both my light/heavy rifles chamber for the 6ppc and they were equally competitive.
They shoot the 30Br mainly in the HBR "Varmint for Score (VFS)" matches which has less restriction than the Varmint Hunter (VH) or Hunter(Htr) matches so it has the most shooters. At a good match may see 40/50 shooters the others two may see 8/10 shooters. Before the 30 BR we used the 6ppc in the VFS
