Tumbler Media

I both wet tumble with stainless steel pins and dry tumbler with either corn cob or walnut media. Pros and cons for both types. Pins get the inside spotless and shiny, but then you have to go through the drying process. Dry media gets the brass very shiny, especially when using corn cob and a polish, but you have to deal with the dust and the stuck media in the primer pockets.
I made my on wet tumbler by using a discarded inkjet printer. I had a source for them at one time but that source has since dried up.
I wonder if dried coffee grounds would work as a media?

Thanks guys for sharing your steps. Sure does help me. Since I already deprimed by brass. I have already soaked them on dish soap and dried them. I have already gotten the media from amazon. Soon I will start using the tumbler. Lets see how it goes.

+1 on the blast media. I got a 40lb bag of this Blast Media, Corn Cob, 20 to 40 Grit from Zorro tools delivered for less than $40. Works great. won't get stuck in flash holes.
