Does anyone know where and when the Big Tulsa Gun Show is? I would like to go, but I nor my friend knows where or when it is.
Thanks.

If you are inquiring about the Wanemacher(sp?) it will be at the State Fair Grounds and it will have 11 acres of tables. The date is April 1 and 2. No I'm not kidding.

The big Tulsa show is in Tulsa. Sorry Chirstina I couldn't resist. :D
For more info you can call the promoter at (918)492-0401, FAX (918)492-0458.
3800 tables of sheer gun lovers heaven held every April and October.

As an after thought. Who all is planning to attend?

I think mchgnmike is right on. I was in Tulsa last week and saw the show advertised on some billboards, April 1-2.

I'm tempted to go up for it.

It is 4/1 and 2 at the Tulsa Fairgrouds. That is on the north side of 21st St between Harvard and Yale. I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!! When it gets closer to the time lets make plans for everyone to meet up.

If any TFLers need a place to stay, I've got a spare bedroom in OKC about 2 hours 15 minutes from Tulsa. Jeff, I MAY be interested in meeting up and going on Sunday the 2nd, depending on some things - contact me later.

11 ACRES? DROOOOOOOOOOOOL! 2 days isn't enough. Now if all of you would please contribute to the Chad Needs a New Gun or Two Foundation. Hi my name is Chad and I need a new gun. I don't have the money to buy a new gun and since this is America and I am entitled to everything I want without actually having to work for it I demand that everyone contribute to my foundation. Those of you who do not contrubute, I will sue you for not being nice, which we all know is against the law in the New United Socialist America. And while you are at it, contribute to My New Gold Watch and Necklace Foundation and My New TV. Since I know people on welfare that have these things, I should too. Please send all you can, Chad really needs these things. :) :) :)

Futo: Is that spare room big enough for 20-30 TFLers? (Then again, OKC is a bit of a detour from Dallas, isn't it?)

Anyone know if they sell Shiner in Tulsa??? :D :D :D

Who wants to put together a road trip from OKC? OkieGentl@aol.com. We could meet at the Denneys at I35 and SE 82nd have breakfast and go to Tulsa as a group.

I'll be coming from Springfield, Missouri on Sunday. I can't make it Saturday. :( Anyone going from this area feel free to contact me either here on via private e-mail.
fal308 are you listening buddy? ;)

I hope to get in Friday night. I generally need two days to see the show so I will be there on Sunday also. Anyone there Saturday night is invited to Bill Laughridge, Doug from C&S, and myself for dinner. Bill and Doug have some great stories to tell. Let's get a meet set for Saturday and one for Sunday so nobody gets left out.

Thanks Futo, but if I was going to OKC I would stay with my dad. I am driving in from Indianapolis and that would only add a couple of hundred more mile to my road trip.

Hey all TFL members if you are wanting to know information on the Tulsa gun show, I'm going to attach a link that gives all the information anyone should need. Hopeful this information that will help everyone. Hope to see you all there, Gunslinger and I will be coming together and hope to get together with some or most of you Sat. or Sun. http://www.tulsagunshow.com Send us any replys of any get togethers.

terriderri and Gunslinger,
how long of a drive is it from springfield? i live in the KC area and am thinking of making the trip this year. Is it worth it? we have a local show w/approx 700 tables, 1/3 to 1/2 seems to be stuff other than guns(fake purses, jewelry etc). Is it firearms/accessories only?

It is approximately 180 miles Southwest of Springfield, however if you are coming from the city itself (KC) it would probably be closer for you to come down 71 Highway to I-44.
It is well worth the trip if you like gun shows. It is a great show. 3800 tables covered primarily with guns and accessories. There is some "junk" but not as much as other shows I've been to. I can practically guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The October show is the 21 and 22.

I spoke to Alan Dugger, the owner of Sprinco, last night and he will be there and joining Bill Laughridge for dinner Sat night. If anyone is planning on going let me know so I can get a big table.

If you have not been to a Wannamacher show before, it is worth the trip. I am driving all the way from Indianapolis for it, not much further than Austin, Tx. but a little. It takes 6-8 hours to walk the show quickly. Many people do 4 or 5 hours each day, I do about 5 on Saturday then finish up with 2 or 3 on Sunday. This time I might have to try to get it all in on Saturday.

Just some activity to bump this thread toward the top.

I probably can't make this show, but, at least some good news. I hope to get to the Mesquite show this weekend (Dallas area), and my wife even said she'll go. One small step at a time!

i've got a car load of folks from n.w. ark. we never miss this show, and the one in oct. its the largest in the world. very profesional people there, fine weaponary.

OK how are we to recognize each other? How about a nice big TFL sticker on our back! My feelins are hurt that no one wants to have breakfast with me. I do shower on any month with a J in it.
