TulAmmo anyone?

I shot 100 rounds of .45 a while back. They all fed through my SW1911 no problem. All one hundred went bang. It is about as dirty as Wolf ammo. I have heard some bad comments from others, but cannot say it is bad from my experiance. cheaperthandirt.com has it prety cheap too.

It shoots okay but leaves the guns absolutely filthy. The 9mm seems hot and the .45acp seems the exact opposite. I will buy it ONLY if it is the cheapest ammo. (The 250rd bulk packs of UMC work out to be cheaper per round at Walmart.) It's crazy less than 3 years ago, Walmart sold Blazer Brass
for $8.97 a box and now it's $10.47 for this stuff. At least, you can find it about half the time now.

I like Wally World to start having their own private label ammo to get a better price point. Sam's Choice 9mm, Home Place Shotshells, Everyday Living 5.56 and Dr. Thunder .44 magnum, all at rollback prices! :D

It hasn't been very many years since Academy had CCI aluminum case 9mm for $3.86 per 50 rd. box. I think I still have some of it left.

I have read some reviews and such where people encountered squib loads (primer but no powder) causing a lodged bullet in the barrel. I suppose it can happen anywhere with any manufacturing...but still seems like it would be a severe pita to remedy. Ive shot Bear and been pleased with Russian ammo to some extent. Can't comment personally on Tulammo-never shot it yet. But the prices are tempting...plus no shipping charges @ wally world.

Tulammo just stands for Tula arsenal...they made some of the most high quality russian armaments for 100 years or so.....its pretty accurate and always goes bang, cant ask for more than that if shtf
