I've been using revolvers for over 30 yrs. I prefer a 4" DA or a 7.5" SA, but the one snubby I do have is the Taurus 85CH and an Uncle Mike's nylon pocket pouch. Pretty good combo. I must admit that for pocket carry I now use a Kel-Tec P11 in the same pocket pouch, but I do love a snub nosed revolver.

Being a newbie revolver lover
Being a newbie probably means you are also learning to shoot revolvers. As you progress you may decide to try the snubbies as they offer more of a challenge. Then you will realize that except for the velocity you don't need all that barrel hanging out front.

I have one Detective Special and a pair of 629's in three inch out of 20 or so revolvers. I'd have more if the big bore snubbies were a little easier to find in the older N frames. I find I carry these and my near snubby four inch revolvers the most.
I'm not about to give up on any of my barrel lenghts from two to 8 3/8 inches as all have some use for me.
I had to face it years ago that after the first 2 or 3 wheelguns my needs were met and it's simply want from then on.

Out of 20 wheelguns 12 are snubbies. Nothing over 2 1/2". But i think it was my dad's fault. He always loved snubbies and always had one or two around.
