First off. Joe, what can I say? Words can't express 'em all. Just a good show all 'round. So proud of you & yours. You put the C (as opposed to K) back in California! 
Folks, this is one true patriot! What we have started & done in Colorado, this fine man, & a few others, have taken it away, in the heart of the beast & is being hugely effective!
It can be done! with perseverance & "an attitude!"
You, yourself, just have to get out there & say "it has to be done." Nobody else doing it? Well then, you just pick up the slack & there's lots to pick up. Just start & go.
Notice too. The media, even though presented with the "main message" (re #s of people & their own message) pretty much (no diss, Joe) gave a pittance to "us" & focused on "them."
That HAS GOT TO CHANGE!
The onle way is to keep at 'em, keep presenting the "true believer" spirit & hit 'em where they live.
The stages of being effective:
1) "publically ignored" - first stage (duh) where they won't acknowledge your existance - that'll change
2) "marginalized" - you don't matter for whatever reason they can come up with - usually discount your numbers in their reporting, etc.
3) "demonized/fringe-group" - "you don't speak for the majority" & "will you let these people speak for you"-type message?
4) "out-right screaming that we're being unfair" - & that is exactly when we know that we are being effective.
When they start screaming that we are being unfair, you know that you have 'em & are being effective.
Never let them dictate the terms on their terms.
We, in CO, have already gone through "the stages" & are now declining (most emphatically) certain press people from interviews. If the media wants an interview, well then, they can jolly well send in someone who will not bias the reporting with their own personal political agenda.
We have sent a couple newsies packing (hat in hand & tail between legs) because of biased reporting.
Imagine, if you will .... a reporter has an ongoing assignment to "cover" the "gun issue." It is a hot topic & how everyone clamors for media attention! They are everyones' darling 'cause they are who "makes the news." He/she is sent for the scab de jour. But! There's some that stand on truth & honesty & say they will never again speak to certain "reporters" 'cause they twist & slant the info to their own agenda.
We will speak to another reporter (there are "friendlies" about) - call the newsroom & tell 'em that you'll never speak to an unbiased reporter again. You report what was said or you don't get the other side.
After making enough of a fuss, the "other side" is as much news as the liberal's biased BS anyway - they are there to report (right), more like cause "an uproar!," "the debate," etc. .... confrontation absolutely sells! and when you create enough confrontation (be nice, y'all), you also create an atmosphere where the media cannot help but report it.
When you've reached that stage, you got 'em. Then, you get to dictate to whom you will speak & what message gets out.
BTW, on 5/14, there are at least wto Denver reporters who will be hounded to distraction, will people in evidence with bullhorns stating "never speak to this newsie-type - she's a liar!," etc. Too, we have press credentials & there will be those who will interview the newsies themselves - asking, in our most sincere & condenscending voices (just like they do at an auto accident) "how does that make you feel? to have the people turn on you & not allow you a moments peace? in the midst of all this turmoil? & not allow you to perform your job? or to seek/speak the truth?"
I know for a fact that it has already begun to be hugely successful & will have an absolutely devastating impact on the liar media-whores.
We even already have it set up to show their faces on national TV.
Should be a hoot.
