Trim all my 44 brass?

Years ago when I shot the .44 I had different brands of brass and there was a lot of variation in length, so much that it was necessary to trim them to the same length as the shorter brass. The crimp needs to be uniform and heavy in the .44. Could shoot sub 2" at 50 yards on a good day but you gotta have good ammo. I was never able to make accurate light loads but the full magnum loads were super accurate.

I don't load for many pistols. But in my 44 mag, my 40s&w, and my .357, I get the best accuracy and cleanest burn when I push them.

I suppose I could try faster powders to get the velocity down at higher pressures, but no need right now.

I you want consistency sort by head stamp and trim to the same length, I keep my revolver brass sorted by number of times fired. Each time a case is resized it gets a little harder and less malleable resulting in less neck tension.
