Tried out My New-to-Me 22LR SP101 Today...

It definitely looks like an ammo issue. I fired Remingtons in my S&W M41 and there was so much crud build up in the barrel I could not even get a cleaning rod through.

I switched to CCI and Federal Premium Match and haven't had the problem since.
