Took the Plunge on a 60-15

I have the 3" Model 60-4, which is .38 Special only. This is the correct model for potting at grouse:

deerslayer, you got a good one. I sure like mine. Whenever a thread pops up on which gun makes the best "trail gun" or "packin' pistol", I think immediately of my 60-15.

Congrats! A very nice find! There's nothing quite like a 3" J frame. Fun to shoot, accurate and a comfortable "carry piece". Enjoy!

I recently bought a 3" model 60. I love that little gun, even if it does have that dang lock. I carry it around our place. It is very comfortable.

I own this 60-10 3 inch.

With mild loads it's a pleasure to shoot, 357 mag, so much.

For carry it's loaded with 38 spl SD loads.
