Hey Blues, there's something you're overlooking: 75% of the respondents, including those that think guns don't deter crimes, are in favor of RKBA! In statistical terms, that's a rout! There isn't anything, save apple pie, that gets more than 60% in this contrarian culture.

I have been preaching for quite a while that I believe most Americans believe in not only our constitutional rights, but our historic rights, to keep and bear arms.

I think there's a gnawing feeling in many people that *something* needs to be done about violence in schools, etc. They haven't figured out what that *something* is, and quite frankly I think we are all so afraid of our own deaths that we will go to extreme measures not just to stamp out violence, but to stamp out death!

And wtshtf, a gun can be the best enemy death ever had!

When our *safe a$$* politicians support RKBA, you know they're doing it based on a perceived widespread support, IMHO.
