I think that Raven1 hit something right on the head.. I don't like "ruts". I like different things each and every day. I also like the fact of being part of a "family" and not just "going to work". That is one thing I really enjoyed and looked forward to as a Project Manager.. each day held something different. And the worse off it was the better I performed. When it was "normal" duty, logging in 3215's and the like.. it was boring as heck. I loved to see the senior staff (or sgt's in my case, up to and including the Commander) sweating out details and trying to find the answer for the general.. only to have me, a lowly Airmen, find the solution to the problems. I loved it. My biggest problem was also addressed in Raven's post.. I have a problem with idiots, or authority in lay mans terms. Not always, but mostly. I think I was the only PM that got a pat on the back at the same time some Capt or Major was sticking the knife into it.
