I just finished installing a new timney on my Ruger Hawkeye, have yet to shoot it but it feels excellent dry firing, now I am considering putting one on my model 7, question is, the install on the Ruger was pretty easy, anyone ever install one on a model 7? Any problems? Special tools needed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Timney is usually a easy install, that's what makes them popular. But the Savage 110 trigger will test ones handy ability, the mauser trigger only required a minute stock customizing, and the Weatherby Vanguard trigger was the easiest to install.
Timney triggers has shrunk my groups nicely.... I only need three more of these dudes..;)

Your Model 7 has an adjustable trigger . Have you tried adjusting it ? Better yet , have a Smith adjust it for you ! They are pretty sweet when adjusted properly .

Yes, your Model 7 has an adjustable trigger. You could adjust it or have a smith adjust it. I generally recommend just going ahead and installing a Timney trigger rather than adjusting the stock trigger, the end results are always much nicer. Timneys are easy, two pins out, two pins in, check for clearance around the trigger housing, and you're done. But if you want to adjust the trigger, go ahead.
