Summertime in GA is HOT! I'm going to pick up a MK9 this week instead of my usual P229 and P7.

Wearing leather is just too hot these days. Going to stick with pocket carry until about September.

During the warmest months I usually switch from my Springfield Champion .45 to my old Star M43 in 9x19. Mostly because it's just less conspicuous under very light clothing, especially in that the pair of much smaller magazines "print" less and don't chafe rubbing bare skin under a tee shirt.

Both are carried in IWB rigs by Milt Sparks: VM II for the Springer, Summer Special with the Star.

No matter the season, my Keltec P 32 is in a pocket in its Don Hume pocket rig, too.

Yep, I switch over from my Colt 1991A1 Compact in a Bianchi Black Widow at about 4 o'clock under a jacket or unbuttoned flannel shirt to a S&W 642 Airweight in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster. It disappears into my shorts or khakis.

With no cover garment appropriate in hot weather, the fanny pack is often worn to carry a S&W 642 or a Taurus PT111. When travelling to certain events, the main gun has to stay in the car, while my pocket pistols (KT P32 and NAA mini-revolver .22LR) become the only protection carried with me.

Didn't vote because I still carry my XD40-4" IWB at about 3:30. The thing is if it gets real hot and Im doing the light t shirt thing then I might do a J-frame IWB at the same position.

My usual hot weather switcheroo ... my Kimber UCII and belt holster take a well-deserved rest and I'm carrying my PM9 in a pocket holster ... Actually, I think the PM9 surfaced back in March when the temperature started climbing ... now that it's 100 every day, pocket carry in shorts is the only way to fly ... don't like IWB ...
