Thumb safety idea...a "Scaled" safety

As noted, only the P99 AS model that is a true DA/SA striker-fired version. Other P99 models are either DAO, or Quick Action -- which is more like the Glock/XD where the slide partially or fully charges the striker spring. [I don't have access to any technical info that explains how the Walther Quick Action (QA) mechanism.] I think the QA version was discontinued.

The AS version is a clever design -- but I've never been able to get my hands on one locally to see how they feel. If you move the slide .4", the striker is charged.

Which Taurus models? I'd like to read up on this mechanism.

Any one of their plastic autos that they advertise as having "second strike capability".
