This may be a stupid question...

Also i would consider leaving the gun in your car just in case you find youself in a situation where the have had NOTHING to drink and need it.
Only reason I would hesitate on that is college kids = petty crime. Unless you have a legit safe to stash it into, I would just leave it at home so it wouldnt get stolen...

I'm wondering if i should be armed
What if something happens and you shoot someone, even with full justification? You are now in a house with 199 of his drunken and upset fellow classmates and/or friends. What do you think will happen to you?

Why invite trouble?

LEO are forced by the nature of the job, to go places that are dangerous and where they may need a gun. NOTE: they do not drink while doing this, they practice this situational stuff, and they generally go with a partner or backup.

Average citizens are well advised not to go places where they may need a gun. I carry and am not advocating that you stop doing so, so long as it is legal. But you should never go seeking trouble. Why would you voluntarily go somewhere you:
a) intend to become intoxicated
B) will be around others also intoxicated whose behavior you can't control
c) know there is an element of danger
d) expect to need your gun.

The simplest rational solution is not to go. If you go, store your gun safely before your first drink and do not take it with you. In most places, even if CCW is legal, doing so under the influence of drugs or alcohol is illegal. Also, a drunk with a gun in a drunken crowd is a recipe for disaster, yours or someone elses.

Thanks to all

I anticipated those answers, but i will always ask a dumb question over assuming my own answer. I won't take it. I will be going because as I said it's not a "party" it's a "Competition" and I love to play (although the root word of competition is compete...). I totally agree with those of you that said playing with water is cheating... But isn't cheating the best way to ensure a vitory? I talked to the owner and he said no "water-cups" so we'll be playing for real. The good news is it's walking distance from another pals house so I don't have to pay for a 15 minute cab ride afterward, and the owner said that he's already informed the police that he's having this event and they're aware of it and have his address. So he plans on calling them if stuff gets out of hand. So i'll just listen to my gut and if it feels wrong or there's tension then we'll just go home and work on the Dirt bikes (now that I"m not paranoid about riding CCW Lol) Thanks for the wisdom ladies and gents!
