Here in my city the game "Beer Pong" is HUGE among the college students... And my buddy and I are quite good and frequent most frat parties to show up the "Locals" (we're good because we've been a team for a while and we arent' there to get drunk we're there to win, so we fill our cups with water... thus avoiding the drunken stupor) We just found out about a Beer Pong Tournament happening later this month at some rich kids house and We're invited.
But with there being 5 kegs and 200 people crammed in a single house with no law or reason... I'm wondering if i should be armed. NOW BEFORE YOU FLAME!!!!!! Let me explain that I have a personal rule to NEVER handle my gun when I drink. But people have been shot at partys in this city over the last few years so i'd like to be prepared... So my questions are;
Is it even legal to possess a firearm while under the influence? I've found all sorts of stuff about bars and publicly sanctioned events but nothing about private stuff ( I probably won't drink and even if i do it won't be much, but if I do I want to know what the law is)
This is supposed to be a very laid back and fun event. It's not supposed to be a wild party and my buddy told me that the owner of the house is very serious about that.... So knowing that, would I be best to;
1)Go, and CCW just in case while keeping a level head and extra intense sense of responsibility?
2) Should I go but not carry and keep my SA on High alert and hope for the best?
3) Should I forfeit my entry fee ($20) and not go at all?
