This is the fastest semiauto shotgun I have ever seen

not sure about the Super 90 series but the older Benellis can go about that speed also. I can get my Benelli 121 M1 running about that fast. Never tried bump-firing it though.

Bumping is when you hold the firearm loose enough in your arms that the recoil drives the trigger into your finger, which depresses it, which recoils off your shoulder, and causes you to just keep going.

Full auto for the masses, if you will.

thats a Saiga-12K I believe. Its offered over there as a selective fire 12guage. There have been prototypes which even included a very quick 2 shot burst aswell as fully automatic fire.

It looks like he pulls the trigger everytime... does look like a Saiga 12.

And why would a guy be timing if it was full auto?

Watching different ak message boards for a few years, it has been stated alot that Russian Saigas are exported only as non-militarized sporters.
There are full auto ones in Russia primarily for military/law enforcement.
These have a special magazine well which does not appear on the one in the video. This was most likely bump firing. Timing the shooter would be an indicator.

I agree . I've watched Tom Knapp's world record 10 clay shooting video many times and his custom Benelli is'nt that fast.
He's also aiming at and hitting targets, not just trying to make it go...

I've seen saigas work that fast - no biggie unless he's also knocking down plates with each shot... Then we've got something there.

(Oh yeah - won't help ya with yer trap doubles... where I last saw one go like this was at a three gun meet - guy had trouble hitting a clay pigeon tossed vertically in the air twenty feet or so - took two or three aimed shots and missed, so emptied the rest of his 10 rd mag in the general direction of the bird before it hit the ground in frustration... All fruitless, but very fast.)
